Start by locating your own pen, the nearby nests, and a clear return path. The shortest steal is usually better than the flashiest one.
THE GRAB
Choose the exit first
The Guard chases thieves. Face the direction you plan to run before taking the chicken, and avoid getting trapped against fences or other players.
SAFE INCOME
Collect the eggs
Chickens in your pen lay eggs. Carry those eggs to the Merchant to turn a successful steal into spendable progress.
NEXT RUN
Buy useful freedom
Use the treadmill to improve speed. Expand the pen when capacity—not movement—is what limits the next run.
THE BAT
A tool, not a plan
The official description confirms you can bat other thieves. That does not mean every encounter is worth fighting.
A clean escape preserves the chicken. Swing when another player blocks the only safe route, not because someone happens to be close.
FIRST SESSION CHECKLIST
